Tip of the day is know your tools . Know what your comb does , know how to use your comb ,know what level of hair your brush is effective on and know your angles , use a mirror . Know your hair porosity and use products for your hair porosity and last but not least know your compression you need to know that compression isn’t to smash your waves but to save the progress of you laying them down with your brushwork . It will slightly be different because you will take all the air from around the hair follicles which will make them more uniform . The way to “KNOW” is through research and experiment .
