This is a good raw soap. Lathers very well. A little goes a long way. Would love to see this in liquid form, as it’s slightly difficult to maintain in its natural form.

    is this product fair-trade?

    • John

Absolutely! Our African Black Soap is imported from the villages around Accra, Ghana under the fair-trade guidelines. *liquid version coming soon..

Is this soap good to use for shaving? I noticed the Shave butter is relatively new. Although they are both made with natural ingredients, is there one which is preferred over the other for sensitive skin?

    • John

Its good but can be harsh. We recommend using a preshave like Bully or shaving butter when using the soap lather.
